End-to-end deal flow, built in and configurable

DEALWISE has a built-in ideal deal flow; however it can be customised based on your organisation's Delegation of Authority and portfolio needs.

Ten stages

The institutional deal flow

Every stage is a gate: required evidence, required approvals, a named owner and an SLA. Rejections and missed opportunities are recorded as outcomes and stay in the record.

01

Under Review

Opportunity registered with sponsor, source, indicative size and a unique deal code. Screening criteria applied.

02

Preliminary Analysis

First-pass commercial, sector and country assessment. Early risk flags, indicative probability and go / no-go recommendation.

03

IC Review

Investment Committee paper assembled from live data. Decision, conditions and rationale recorded against the deal.

04

Due Diligence

Workstreams for commercial, financial, legal, tax, technical and ESG. Findings, severity and remediation tracked to closure.

05

Valuation & Pricing

Multiple methods, scenario and sensitivity analysis, entry pricing and target IRR captured with full working papers.

06

Deal Structuring

SPV design, instrument mix, shareholder rights, conditions precedent and covenant package defined.

07

Transaction Execution

08

Asset Management

Financial and operational performance, covenant monitoring, board reporting, valuations and risk ratings on a live cadence.

09

Divestment

Exit readiness, buyer engagement, transaction workstreams and proceeds tracking against the original underwriting case.

10

Outcomes tracked

Nothing leaves the record

Realised

Exited

Realised proceeds, IRR and multiple reconciled against the original underwriting case, with the full decision history retained permanently.

Declined

Rejected

Rejected after preliminary assessment, after due diligence or by the Investment Committee, each with a reason code and the paper that supported it.

Learning

Missed opportunities

Deals lost on price, speed or structure are captured deliberately, so origination strategy is informed by what the institution did not win.
